Afghan Ambassador presented his credentials to the Nederlands

The Hague- On Wednesday, Oct 25, 2017, Dr. Mohammad Homayoon Azizi, presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to His Majesty King Willem Alexander.
Ambassador Azizi conveyed warm greetings of H.E. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to His Majesty King Willem Alexander and to the people of the Netherlands.
Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan said the Afghan diplomatic mission in The Hague will work hard to strengthen and expand ties between the two countries. To this end, the potential of mines, energy, agriculture and academic areas will be given further attention. Seeking to establish an appropriate relationship between the traders and investors of both countries, priority will be given to the development of economic and trade cooperation between Afghanistan and the Netherlands. In this way, it can fulfill its tasks of developing relations in all fields.
At the ceremony, King of the Netherlands noted the country's persistence in fulfilling its commitments to work with Afghanistan to combat terrorism, rebuild and institutionalizing of peace in Afghanistan, and assured that the kingdom of the Netherlands, which has a long history of friendship and diplomatic relations with Afghanistan, Will remain with Afghans to achieve peace and stability.
